Xiaomi’s latest smartphone, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G was supposed to get released on November 26, 2020, but images and specifications of the new device have already been leaked online. As per our sources, the company is set to launch as many as two Xiaomi 5G smartphones along with a new smartwatch.
According to the leaked images of retail boxes, it has been confirmed that the new smartphone is expected to feature a powerful specification sheet which will a be solid upgrade over what is available on the previous Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will house a 108-megapixel camera as a primary sensor. From the leaked images, we also came to know that the smartphone will have a circular module and a gradient finish. Unlike its predecessor, the Xiaomi 5G smartphone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The news about Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G specifications has been floating around the internet since the previous month but got validated by Lu Weibing, General Manager of Redmi a week ago. This smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset.
It is a modern-day smartphone processor with a total of 8 cores and 8 threads clocked at 2.20GHz. Manufactured using 8-nanometer technology, the first 2 cores of Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G are of Kyro 570 Gold, while the rest 6 are of Kyro 570 Silver.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will also be home to Adreno 619 graphics. A GPU capable enough to handle heavy titles such as Fortnite, PUBG, GRID Autosport, and Asphalt 9 with ease.
The leaks also state that Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will differ greatly from its predecessor in terms of memory and storage. The listing on Geekbench talks about the Xiaomi 5G device and claims that the smartphone could come with Android 10, MIUII 12, 256GB of storage, and 12GB RAM.
The presence of a 6,000 mAh battery will be a key feature of this vanilla version of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. One leak even said that the price of upcoming Xiaomi 5G device may start at 1,499 Yuan (roughly around US$228).
